Antique 19th C. English Minton Flow Blue Transferware Floral Porcelain Plate

A lovely antique English flow blue transferware porcelain floral plate by Minton, circa 1880. Maker's mark on reverse. Minton was a major English pottery and porcelain factory set up by Thomas Minton in 1793 in Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffordshire. This fine plate features the company's popular 'Aster' pattern based on painted designs (probably chrysanthemums) found on Chinese porcelain plates and cups, some dating to the 1400s. It displays beautifully and would be fabulous added to a collection, displayed on a plate rack, wall, or in a cabinet.

Very good antique condition with minor wear consistent with age
