A lovely large antique 19th century French confit pot with drippy mustard yellow glaze from the South of France, Castelnaudary. This pot or planter is hand thrown with charming handles known as 'ears'. These jars were used for storing and preserving cooked meat. It displays beautifully, perfect with a bouquet of flowers or used in the kitchen to hold utensils. Boxwood ball not included.
