A charming antique French faience Henriot Quimper hand painted round trinket box, circa 1920. Maker's mark on underside of lid and on base. The lid of this box features a Breton woman dressed in traditional Breton costume and sitting in the countryside with a basket of eggs. Surrounding the woman is a border of pink heather flowers and bands of orange and blue tassels. The sides of the box are decorated with ajonc flowers and the same bands of orange and blue tassels. It displays beautifully, perfect for a collection or would make a lovely gift.
